Our story comes from humble beginnings.
A group of 4 local car guys banded together bringing their loyalty, friendship and love for automotive culture with them. It was very clear that there was something wrong with the current car scene. Individuals seemed more concerned with collecting banners, who had more Instagram followers, or even who was the most "Famous". Long lost were the days of gathering at your local hang out for weekly car meets. Even worse the Original Goons witnessed out right hostility from car people at shows and events simply because we weren't part of their "Clique" or "Gang".
Goon|Squad was formed.
Our Core Ethos was created that valued Loyalty and commitment to brotherhood above anything else. A core group of friends who are more concerned about the what the individual contributes to the group on a friendship level rather than the amount of "Exposure" or "Fame" someone would bring. Slowly, other local car guys/girls began to see the camaraderie and level of pride each official member held for the group they helped to create. The core values remained consistent, Squad over self, Brotherhood first. If your fellow Goon needed something than these guys made it their mission to be available. We slowly vetted new Goons and mentored them through the process of earning a spot in the brotherhood. As we grew we remained true to who we are and why we started.
Active members have a voice in every aspect of the club. Voting on changes to policy and new members is a key privilege of earning membership.
A Lengthy entrance process lead to only the most dedicated to join while weeding out the classic "Scene kids".
High standards If you are looking for a club with an open door policy this inst it. We have very high standards for the initial vote for entrance. This is NOT your local “Plasti-dip and lowering springs” club

Let's start with a simplified version of our process.
As potential members show interest in joining a few things take place within the club.
Current members will voice their opinions on the character of the potential recruit. Both on their recent (if any) interactions and a vouch for their personality if the current member knows this individual. As long as no current members move forward with a vote of "No confidence" then the next step in the process can proceed.
This is where area of the process where we collect information about you, your ride, hobbies, passions, interests and life experiences. Why you want to join and what you offer to the team. Some say this is excessive but we disagree. If an individual cant even come up with a simple answer for what they offer to the team and why they feel they should be able to join then maybe they would be better chasing banners and instafame with some other group.
If the Individual and their vehicle passes our initial vote they will be added to a chat app that is used for our members to stay in contact and close the distance gap. This is an important step in the process because regaurdless of the distance it allows current membership to build relationships and bonds with the new individuals.
After some time another public vote viewable to the new addition will take place regarding thoughts on their character, level of interaction and activity. one of three things can happen at this step. 1: The recruit has trial period extended 2: recruit is removed from chat and is no longer eligible for membership or 3: trial member earns full membership which includes Banners for as long as individual is apart of the club and your membership shirt. Both of these are given by the club to the new member free of charge.
As a full member of Goon|Squad you help run and influence the clubs activities, membership and enact changes if needed.
Currently the merchandise on this page is all OWNED by current membership. It is a way for our members to be creative and passionate about the club that they helped build. Our member base is involved with the creation of new merchandise and designs and is rewarded with the ability to sell their own designs on our website. Support those who support you. How do I start the process to join?
Our club has strict guidelines for entrance. Your car will open the opportunity but your effort will earn your place. We know builds are never done. We expect a car to improve over time and as a member of the club your teammates will push you to improve but a few things have to be in place to be considered.
At bare minimum car must have Coil-overs or Bags
Car must be uniform in color, No mis-matched colors or primer. This excludes Carbon accenting
All Body panels must be fit properly with out damage.
Must have After market wheels that fill wheel well properly with minimal wheel gap. There are many styles of Stance, Your car must fit one of them.
We DO NOT accept sub-par work. Plasti-dip isnt a Mod. Bacon Fenders are not cool, and having the front end of your car ziptied together won’t score points.
Your car must have some wow factor and be Meet/show ready.
We don’t do banner collectors, or banner chasers. Only one banner on the windsheild, and that is Goon|Squad. If you have an official sponsor that is an exception to this.
